Gorillas in our midst
This weekend, Austin’s Monday through Friday 9 to 5’ers will have the opportunity to return to the concrete jungle, but this time they won’t be clad in their monkey suits. Instead, they will be given standard issue gorilla suits so they can take part in the Austin Gorilla Run.
The faux fur fest offers a good workout and a good time and benefits the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund in Africa. The 5K run starts at the 1st Street Bridge downtown at 9 a.m. Saturday, January 21st.
